RECOMMENDATION: Pilgrimage to Conception Abbey
Have you heard about the jubilee, but wondered what it is all about? Information on the USCCB website: “2025 is the Jubilee Holy Year, the 2,025th anniversary of the Incarnation of our Lord, an "event of great spiritual, ecclesial, and social significance in the life of the Church." The concept of "Jubilee" has its origins in the Book of Leviticus (chapter 25) as a special year of reconciliation, pilgrimage, and coming home. Pope Francis has designated the 2025 Holy Year as a time to renew ourselves as "Pilgrims of Hope." This web page [https://www.usccb.org/jubilee2025] can offer Catholics resources and ideas for celebrating the 2025 Jubilee locally or by making a special pilgrimage to Rome.
Are you interested in learning more about or joining the Catholic Church? Join us for weekly sessions of the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) - beginning on September 7th, after the 8:00 AM Mass. Call the office to participate: 660-582-3833

Many parishioners have shared that these daily podcasts are engaging and informative.
Thank you to all who were able to attend the meeting held on Nov. 17th. If you were unable to attend, it is not too late to have your child be a part of the 2025 Confirmation Class. Contact Jenni Jordan ([email protected]) for more information.
If you are thinking of joining, see the offer below. For the last four months of this year, an anonymous donor has stepped forward and will pay the dues of any parishioner that joins the Knights of Columbus or transfers into the council between now and the end of the year. No dues for you through the end of 2025. So, if you are a man of 18 years of age or older and in good standing in the Catholic Faith, you are eligible to join.
